Job Summary

JAG 'N SUGAR RESTAURANTS INC. is seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Staff Training and Supervision: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate records of inventory and usage.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
