About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Versatile Finish Carpentry Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes, using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality carpentry products.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and professional finish.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings, to meet the needs of our clients.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands.
  • Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads to meet the demands of the job.
  • Work a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime as required.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable company.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
