About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Aide to join our team at Donice R Horton — CSIL. As a Personal Support Aide, you will play a vital role in providing assistance to clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking
  • Feed or assist clients with feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with personal care, such as toileting and grooming
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment

Our clients reside in rural areas, and public transportation is available. The work setting is non-smoking, and the work site environment is physically demanding.
