Exciting Career Opportunity for Underwriting Specialists at Northbridge Financial Corporation
Are you a seasoned underwriting professional eager to be part of a vibrant team at Northbridge Financial Corporation? Our dedicated underwriting specialists collaborate closely with a broad network of brokers to create customized insurance solutions tailored to the unique needs of businesses. You will be responsible for managing complex accounts while ensuring compliance with company standards and objectives. As an underwriting expert, your role will involve assessing and managing accounts while adhering to national data quality benchmarks and service level agreements. Building and nurturing strong relationships with our broker partners is essential, as is offering guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues. If you possess a strong background in underwriting with a minimum of five years of experience and relevant certifications, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwriting – implement renewal rate guidelines, evaluate and negotiate suitable rates.
- Sales and negotiation.
- Identifying effective solutions.
- Developing and sustaining professional relationships with brokers and clients.
- Providing mentorship and coaching to less experienced underwriters.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of underwriting experience.
- PAA, FPAA, or RPLU designations obtained or in progress.
- Extensive customer service experience.
- A collaborative team player.
