Role Overview

We are on the lookout for dynamic professionals to accelerate our evolution into a premier technology solutions provider. The Solutions Consultant for Presales will serve as a trusted advisor to our Global System Integrators (GSI) clientele. This newly formed team of consultants will enhance our collaboration with existing GSIs to develop unique commercial solutions through a consultative engagement.

The Solutions Consultant will leverage Lenovo's top-tier hardware, software, and services, while also collaborating with third-party technologies and partners to drive revenue growth and maintain solution relevance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Established relationships in sales and solutions with Global Systems Integrators or consulting firms.
  • Significant experience in presales solutions and service design, either with technology OEMs or System Integrators.
  • Proven track record in fostering revenue growth with GSIs.
  • Experience in leading complex solution ideation, design, and client presentations.

Basic Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years in IT sales or business and technology consulting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in technology sales or architecture with enterprise solutions, including Business Continuity, High Availability, and Multi-cloud architectures.
  • Capability to lead virtual teams within complex organizational structures.
  • Strong presentation, proposal development, and communication skills, adept at working across various geographies.
  • A proactive mindset that embraces innovation, integrates teams, and drives successful outcomes.
  • Experience in conducting customer workshops, seminars, and conferences, with public speaking skills preferred.
  • Candidates with backgrounds in OEM and GSI business presales are highly desirable.

Note: This position is fully remote and covers the New York territory. Candidates must reside in New York or New Jersey.
