Operational Excellence Lead

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Lead to join our team at Tolko Industries Ltd. in High Prairie, Alberta. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and maximizing productivity in our 24/7 OSB operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain safe operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure all employees working in the area are trained and competent.
- Analyze data and trends to quantify improvements and drive business growth.
- Coach employees on safe and productive work habits and ensure proper reporting and recording of maintenance and safety issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive synergy and maximize resource utilization.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as industrial engineering or operations management.
- Supervisory experience leading teams in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and improvement through people and processes.
- Working knowledge of OSB manufacturing, continuous process operations, and experience maintaining large industrial machinery.
