Position Overview
The Senior Business Planning Manager at Samsung Electronics Perú plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the strategic alignment of various teams within the Mobile Experience division. This position is integral in establishing quarterly, annual, and tri-annual objectives grounded in robust market insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Oversee the planning schedules to ensure all teams are informed of their responsibilities, facilitating a seamless planning process. Define market share objectives for all planning cycles and collaborate with Sales and Product teams to develop comprehensive quarterly and annual strategies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough competitive research, including pricing and promotional activities, and perform weekly sell-out/sell-thru assessments across various channels and regions.
- Operational Coordination: Engage with headquarters to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and maintain effective communication regarding market activities and product introductions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to maximize market share and revenue potential, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
Qualifications
- Education: An MBA is preferred, along with training in Operations or Finance.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in related fields, including Market Intelligence and Planning, with a proven track record in team management.
- Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software, and a solid understanding of the mobility and information technology sectors.
