Job Title: Production Manager

At OIC Foods Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage plant resources to meet or exceed safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Develop and analyze metrics and KPIs related to production.
  • Collaborate with production team members to identify process improvements and opportunities for new technology.
  • Lead the analysis of SKU costing and participate in new process development and planning.
  • Implement Lean CI and 5s initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
  • Design equipment to meet specific product requirements and evaluate new food processing technologies.
  • Participate in product trials and approve all Reclass forms.
  • Maintain reporting metrics and KPIs related to production.
  • Drive effective work performance and development of skills and knowledge of production employees.
  • Foster a Health and Safety culture and participate in performance appraisals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing work experience at management level.
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven track record with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify, formalize, and problem-solve business needs.
  • Expertise in MS Office and strong Excel skills.
