The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Facility Program Assistant in childminding. As a key member of our Recreation Section, you will provide exceptional support to our childminding and preschool programs by ensuring the well-being and safety of the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing customer service to parents and caregivers
- Maintain a safe and clean environment that promotes the well-being of children
- Assist with daily operations and programming in the childminding area
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered
Requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent
- Early Childhood Level 1 Certification
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills
- Intermediate First Aid Certificate
- Commitment to the City's Cornerstone Values
Affiliation:
Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 417
Remuneration:
$22.74 to $23.93 per hour
Hours of Work:
40 hours biweekly, as scheduled. Availability required for weekdays and evenings as business needs require.
