Role Overview
In this position, you will engage directly with clients to identify challenges and offer effective solutions that enhance their operations. You will support new users exploring our software and assist seasoned users requiring technical guidance, training, or project support. Your role is pivotal in ensuring clients feel valued and well-supported. As a problem solver, you will provide both sales assistance and technical expertise through a deep understanding of our integrated solutions.
A Data Management Specialist will develop advanced proficiency in Seequent's Data Management Solutions, facilitating efficient subsurface model creation and stakeholder collaboration. Additionally, you will have the chance to broaden your skill set by collaborating with our software development teams based in New Zealand, while being part of the global Technical Services team, which is dedicated to understanding and addressing the needs of our diverse clientele across various time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Seequent's Data Management portfolio (Central, MX Deposit, Imago, and Evo), including conducting internal training sessions for staff.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to identify opportunities by delivering product demonstrations, assessing customer needs, establishing trial expectations, and crafting tailored implementation strategies to enhance success rates.
- Provide expert-level knowledge on products, workflows, and integrated solutions to both new and existing users in the Mining, Civil, and Environmental sectors.
- Utilize Seequent's information platforms to analyze client portfolios and understand the diverse user base within their organizations.
- Offer remote technical support and guide users through practical examples via screen sharing.
- Manage a variety of user support interactions, including in-person meetings, web conferences, and email communications, ensuring successful resolutions.
- Proactively engage with users through web meetings and face-to-face interactions to conduct user health checks and implement software upgrades.
- Maintain up-to-date client accounts in CRM, documenting health checks, software updates, user changes, and training sessions to ensure accurate information access.
- Conduct training sessions on Central, MX Deposit, and Imago (1-2 sessions monthly).
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels actively and work continuously to enhance outcomes and perceptions.
- Relay customer feedback to software development and product teams, serving as the voice of the customer in North America.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geoscience or Geology.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Mining, Civil, or Environmental sectors.
- Proficient in Data Management and familiar with Seequent software.
- Experience in teaching or training roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster strong working relationships.
- Demonstrated tenacity, persistence, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- A proven team player with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Eligibility to work in the designated country and willingness to travel globally.
- Experience with Seequent Solutions is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French and Spanish is a plus.
