Roots is Seeking a Visionary IT Leader

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking Canadian retailer, and we're looking for a talented IT professional to join our team as VP, Information Technology. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology landscape and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business objectives and drives innovation
  • Lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and maximum business value
  • Establish and maintain robust IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in a leadership capacity, with a proven track record of driving IT transformation and innovation
  • Strong technical expertise, with a deep understanding of cloud-based systems, cybersecurity, and data architecture
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth through technology
