About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team at JBS Foods Ontario Inc. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective parts.
  • Machinery Installation: Install and set up machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.
  • Coaching and Training: Coach and instruct apprentices in the maintenance and repair of machinery.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test machinery to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following health and safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
