About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team at Finest Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining gas lines and equipment, as well as repairing and servicing gas appliances and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment, install and maintain meters and regulators, and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter.
  • Repair and Service: Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment, including propane and natural gas filling stations.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for projects, and prepare tenders and quotations.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job training.
  • Quality Control: Test and adjust control mechanisms, and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
