Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and mark reference points for gas line installation
  • Install and maintain meters and regulators, as well as gas lines between the gas unit and gas meter
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for gas-related work
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
  • Instruct apprentices in gas fitting techniques
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Estimate costs and materials for gas-related projects
  • Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in gas fitting
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours of work per week
