We are seeking a skilled Catering Server to join our team at TCU Place. As a Catering Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and serve food and beverages at scheduled functions with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
- Assist with food and table prep before events begin, ensuring a seamless and efficient service.
- Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards, creating a visually appealing experience for our guests.
- Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers, and other needs in a timely and courteous manner.
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Thoroughly clean location after event is completed and assist with inventory, food storage, and other closeout tasks.
- Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility, ensuring all items are properly stored and maintained.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
- Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times, providing a positive experience for our guests.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand, ensuring accurate and efficient service.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
- May drive a catering delivery truck, requiring a valid driver's license.
- A valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the province in which you are applying.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of food safety and service standards.
- Able to accurately read event orders and organize deliveries for the day, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff.
- Extremely well organized and efficient, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, with the ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
