We are seeking a skilled Catering Server to join our team at TCU Place. As a Catering Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and serve food and beverages at scheduled functions with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures to ensure the highest level of food safety.
- Assist with food and table prep before events begin, ensuring a seamless and efficient service.
- Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers, and other needs in a timely and courteous manner.
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Thoroughly clean location after event is completed and assist with inventory, food storage, and other closeout tasks.
- Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility, ensuring all items are properly stored and maintained.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment, adhering to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand, being able to answer questions and make recommendations with confidence.
- Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times, prioritizing the health and well-being of guests and colleagues.
- A valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the province in which you are applying.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- A valid driver's license may be required, depending on the location and specific job requirements.
- Able to accurately read event orders and organize deliveries for the day, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Extremely well organized and efficient, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations.
- Good attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, with the ability to lift, bend, and move equipment as needed.
