Job Title: Electrical Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team at ControlPro Distributors Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for our instrumentation and control products manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for electrical control systems.
  • Design electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment for our manufacturing processes.
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Commission systems and components, and set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical control systems engineering.
  • College/CEGEP degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in Power Line Systems (PLS-CADD), AutoCAD, MS Office, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
