Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to manage various HR functions within our organization. This is a permanent position requiring bilingual communication skills.
Employment Details- Work Duration: Permanent
- Language Requirement: Bilingual
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week
The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma or a non-university certificate from a program lasting between 1 to 2 years.
Work Environment- Located in a rural area
- Involvement with associations and non-profit organizations
- Willingness to relocate is necessary
- Assess current and future staffing needs
- Draft and publish job postings
- Screen and evaluate job applicants
- Provide guidance to candidates regarding employment conditions
- Review applicant pools and contact suitable candidates for interviews
- Facilitate recruitment of graduates from various educational institutions
- Participate in selection processes and candidate evaluations
- Communicate selection outcomes and prepare employment offers
- Advise on staffing policies and procedures
- Manage staff consultations and grievance procedures
- Coordinate resolution of disputes and oversee termination processes
- Determine eligibility for entitlements and organize staff training
- Supervise clerical staff handling administrative tasks
- Conduct staff recruitment and selection processes
- Oversee payroll preparation and administration
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of stakeholders
- Maintain accurate payroll records and filing systems
- Inform employees about payroll and benefits
- Ensure accuracy in payroll processing and documentation
- Manage payroll administration tasks
- Utilize various software for content creation and optimization
- Prepare documentation for benefits administration
- Generate and reconcile financial reports related to payroll
- Prepare employee earnings statements detailing deductions
- Proficient in Automatic Data Processing (ADP)
- Strong knowledge of information technology
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and database software
- Experience with internet and electronic communication tools
- Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory
- Must have own transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Attention to detail is essential
- Demonstrates accuracy and reliability
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized and adaptable
- Ability to multitask effectively
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
