The Lead Security Systems Technician will oversee the maintenance and repair of sophisticated electronic security solutions from top-tier manufacturers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct service and upkeep of integrated security solutions, including access control, surveillance systems, and alarm systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify hardware and software issues within our integrated security frameworks.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams from manufacturers to address system challenges.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Provide training to clients on effective system utilization and address technical questions.
  • Complete comprehensive and precise documentation, and assist with project documentation.
  • Comply with the company's Quality and Safety protocols.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and responsiveness to directives from the service team and management.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation as needed.
  • Establish trust with clients and stakeholders, enhancing the company's reputation in the industry.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
  • Be prepared to work night shifts as necessary based on project demands.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Service Technician in the security, electronics, telecommunications, or IT sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex physical security systems such as Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, and Milestone.
  • Post-secondary education in electronics or a related field.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as IP networks, low voltage electronics, access control, CCTV (both IP and Analog), and intrusion systems is advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of productivity and profitability related to the work performed.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Able to pass various levels of security clearance.
  • Available for occasional out-of-town assignments.
  • Personal hand tools are required.
