Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Truck Driver to transport freight from Yellowknife to Hay River with periodic trips to Edmonton. As a key member of our ground handling operations team, you will be responsible for loading and verifying the truck, assisting with unloading, and bringing backhaul to Yellowknife.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 1 Truck to transport containers and follow traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
  • Complete logbook electronically and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-year driving experience in Canada.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and be at least 25 years old due to insurance requirements.
  • Starting salary $30.33/hour based on experience, with overtime pay after 9 hours per day and 45 hours per week.
