Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Truck Driver to transport freight from Yellowknife to Hay River with periodic trips to Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-year driving experience in Canada, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 1 Truck to transport containers
  • Follow traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
  • Complete logbook electronically
  • Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year driving experience in Canada
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be at least 25 years old due to insurance requirements

Working Conditions

Driving will be approximately 9 hours shifts three days a week, occasional weekends. Overtime pay after 9 hours per day and 45 hours per week. The remainder of the week will be assisting in ground handling.

Compensation

Starting salary $30.33/hour based on experience.
