Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Overhead Door Corporation. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing overhead door and gate systems, ensuring quality, safety, and superior customer service.

Responsibilities:

* Install and service overhead door and gate systems, including operator hook-up, controls, and sensors
* Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems, providing solutions and carrying out required work
* Provide basic mechanical repairs and service to overhead doors and gate systems
* Coordinate with the service scheduler on problem-solving and communicating required parts
* Interact with internal and external customers, including construction project managers, other trades, and safety personnel
* Assist other technicians with installation and service as required

Requirements:

* 2-3 years' experience in an electrical trade or hold an Interprovincial Red Seal/Journeyman Electrician Certificate
* Experience in a service/installation industry considered an asset
* Possess a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
* Relevant safety training and tickets are an asset (such as Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, Standard First Aid)
* Experience servicing/installing overhead doors is considered an asset
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
* Ability to work outside in all different weather conditions, including cold and extreme heat
