Position Overview:

The Automation and Control Systems Specialist is tasked with the design, enhancement, and integration of systems and equipment to uphold the highest standards in automation and control. This role involves leading initiatives aimed at improving the electrical, mechanical, and control aspects of production systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

System Design and Integration:

  • Innovate production systems by incorporating automation and Industry 4.0 advancements.
  • Recommend enhancements to current systems.
  • Create programs for instrument safety measures.
  • Standardize technical troubleshooting processes.
  • Adhere to compliance regulations.

Control and Instrumentation:

  • Draft specifications for critical safety instrumentation.
  • Design and troubleshoot basic Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) setups.
  • Implement sophisticated control systems.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents.
  • Review Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) assessments.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in powder handling is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
