Are you looking for a challenging role in the automotive industry? Bruce Chrysler is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Repair Technician to join our Service/Fixed Operations team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles. As an Automotive Repair Technician, you will be responsible for conducting several types of services and repairs on customer vehicles according to established procedures and manufacturers requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles
  • Conduct several types of services and repairs on customer vehicles according to established procedures and manufacturers requirements
  • Effectively use hand tools, power tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Clock on and off on the work order for each individual service and repair case
  • Document all information resulting from tests and repairs conducted on vehicles including required parts and labour
  • Constantly communicate with service consultants and/or customers for repair progress, additional work, wait times, missing parts, etc.
  • Comply with H&S responsibilities including safe work procedures and reporting all work-related injuries
  • Comebacks will be the responsibility of the technician
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and advisors to ensure timely and efficient repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd year or Service Station Technician
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Stay up-to-date with models, techniques and abilities for automotive repairs
  • Ability to handle lifting up to 70 lbs as part of your responsibilities
