Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts, and process payments in a timely manner.
  • Upload data into our financial system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments, and respond to internal and external inquiries.
  • Process wire transfers, cheques, and other financial transactions.
  • Review and clear balances in our general ledger.
  • Comply with quarterly audit requirements and provide documentation as needed.
  • Provide support on special projects and enter journal entries as required.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounts payable role.
  • Excellent initiative, organization, and communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with large integrated systems, such as SAP, is an asset.
