Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Avleen08 Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our inventory is always well-stocked and up-to-date.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that we have sufficient ingredients and supplies to meet our meal preparation needs.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and experienced team to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain high-quality food and service standards, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond to customer complaints and concerns, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have a clear understanding of our operations and can make informed decisions.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, ensuring that we are meeting our targets and operating within our financial means.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong attention to detail.
- Provides Awareness Training to Employees: Develop and deliver awareness training programs to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Applies Accessible and Inclusive Recruitment Policies: Develop and implement accessible and inclusive recruitment policies to accommodate persons with disabilities.
