Quality Control Specialist – Remote
Reporting to the Manager of Internal Operations Oversight, the Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and supervising internal functions to ensure adherence to regulations and provide valuable insights to the organization.
Typical Responsibilities Include
- Collect, assess, and review documentation, historical reports, and data, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and service benchmarks.
- Develop and deliver reports that summarize findings, highlighting key issues and supporting management with strategic recommendations for leadership.
- Analyze and enhance the methodologies employed in the current audit cycle, including reviewing process documentation and collaborating with business units to assess and update internal controls and operational policies/procedures.
- Conduct follow-up activities to ensure compliance and improvement.
- Perform daily document evaluations with a focus on identifying inconsistencies and trends in documentation and notes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Level 1 insurance license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance sector are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience in Quality Control is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail, especially when managing large volumes of data and documentation.
Employment Details
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours/week
Location: Remote
Salary: $41,000 - $55,000
