About the Role

G N Electric Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and residential structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install underground wiring and cables to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to meet electrical code requirements.
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults to minimize downtime and ensure electrical systems are running smoothly.
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables to meet electrical system requirements.
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems to ensure reliable electrical power.
  • Renovate electrical systems in commercial and residential structures to meet electrical code requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training and certifications are preferred.
  • Commercial and residential electrical experience is essential.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Construction and renovation sites.
  • Various locations throughout the region.
  • Commercial and residential electrical systems.
