Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at The Village Inn-Elora. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences, managing daily operations, and leading a team of front desk staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Scheduling

Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operation of the hotel.

Work Scheduling and Procedures

Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure effective use of resources and minimize downtime.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators, guest feedback, and operational metrics.

Team Leadership

Lead, train, and develop a team of front desk staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide exceptional customer service.

Equipment Maintenance

Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.

Supply Chain Management

Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Experience in a similar role is an asset.

Personal Qualities

Organized, team player, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this role.

Work Conditions

30 hours per week, permanent position.

Language

English is the primary language required for this role.
