Required Qualifications
Essential Skills for Success
- A degree in planning, geography, or a related discipline, ideally at the Master's level.
- Full membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), or the ability to achieve this within three years of employment.
- At least five years of project management experience in a consulting environment.
Relevant Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of land use planning, sustainable community design, urban redevelopment, and planning regulations.
- Proven track record in managing land development planning projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of the development sector, land approval processes, and municipal planning policies.
- Excellent communication, report writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
