We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Global Capital Markets team as a Financial Engineering Intern/Co-op. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and testing of advanced derivatives pricing models
- Build quantitative tools for trading and structuring desks
- Develop and maintain infrastructure processes for new business lines
- Conduct ad-hoc investigations for trading and marketing desks
- Provide support to the trading and sales desks
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Proficiency in C++ programming language and knowledge of Java, Python, Shell scripts, or Excel
- Good math skills and knowledge of numerical methods and derivatives products
