The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobility and Accessibility Consultant to join our sales and service team in Kitchener. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their mobility and accessibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a Motion customer experience by ensuring the needs of our clients are met and that we fulfill our promise to make life accessible.
  • Drive business by researching, making cold calls, and expanding our client base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare facilities in our community.
  • Train and be trained by our technicians to learn the functionality of our devices and gain comfort with the basic mechanics.
  • Create and document sales leads and client details in our CRM, craft business proposals and quotes, and provide Customer Value Plans to find opportunities to add benefit to our clients' current devices and services.
Requirements
  • Experience in a customer-facing sales and service position, ideally with exposure to our client-base and products or an open mind and willingness to learn.
  • Construction skills, including comfort using a range of tools and equipment, and experience assembling, building, or repairing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with team members, work in close partnership, and thrive in an independent role.
  • Empathy and respect for our clients, with the ability to engage them in a meaningful way to ensure their individualized needs are met at every appointment.
  • Flexibility, including a valid driver's license and ability to travel to client homes, schools, and hospitals throughout the region in a company vehicle.
