Safety Manager

At Shermco, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety initiatives and projects.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on safety performance and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Construction Safety Officer (CSO) or National Construction Safety Office (NCSO) designation.
- Experience in a safety role or similar capacity in an industrial, mining, and construction setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety-related legislation, industry best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
