Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at CRS Automotive Oakville Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in our automotive service station. This includes designing and constructing single-phase services, splicing and joining wires, testing and measuring voltage, and troubleshooting faults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and construct single-phase services for single or multimeter installations
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and integrity of circuits
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Clean and make minor repairs to vehicles
  • Test automotive systems and components
Requirements:
  • Electrician Trade Certification
  • Conventional electrical devices experience
  • Motors and controls experience
  • Bondable
  • Criminal record check
  • Drug test
Work Environment:

The Electrician will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
