We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator to fill a Permanent Mathematics and Construction Technology position at the Durham Catholic District School Board.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics and Construction Technology courses to students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mathematics and Construction Technology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Mathematics and Construction Technology courses to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education
- Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Ontario College of Teachers certification
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Construction Technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
