The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Permanent Mathematics and Construction Technology Educator position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics and Construction Technology courses to students at the secondary level.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics and Construction Technology courses to students at the secondary level
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications
  • Technological Education qualifications required
  • Subject Qualifications for the courses listed above
