Ventus Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the construction process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Help medical examiners in charge and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Pave and rake asphalt.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements:
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required.
