Job Title: Construction Labourer

Ventus Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in the alignment of pipes during pipeline construction
  • Drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites
Work Environment:

The Construction Labourer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The job requires manual dexterity, physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
