About the Role
At BGIS, we are seeking a highly skilled Tech IV - HVAC/Refrigeration- Roving to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating facility systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and routine services on facility mechanical and other systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities to ensure facility uptime and safety objectives are met.
- Respond to service requests and perform work in accordance with established processes and practices.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory of assigned tools and equipment.
- Participate in and assist with facility-related projects.
Requirements
- College Diploma/Certification in a related field.
- Experience as a licensed HVAC/Refrigeration Technician.
- Strong ability to adhere to and execute processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance.
- Current knowledge of fire, life, safety, and building codes and standards.
- Valid drivers' license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Gasfitter I & II license in addition to refrigeration license.
- Working towards Building Environment Systems (BES) Operation Class 1.
- Facilities Technician Certification through an accredited institution.
