Job Description

BMO Financial Group is seeking a skilled UAT Tester to join our team on a 7-month contract.

The Client Services group is responsible for managing the end-to-end client lifecycle process, including data and documentation collection for due diligence purposes - KYC, Regulatory, Tax, and Legal. The Testing Analyst role is a key part of the project team supporting the Client Validation and User Acceptance Testing phases of Project Sirius.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Decomposing business and functional/system requirements to develop test scenarios and conditions
  • Collaborating with Technology and Business Stakeholders to create and execute comprehensive test cases
  • Assisting the Test Leading and Testing Project Manager in the implementation planning process
  • Accurately and efficiently executing test cases, analyzing results, and reporting observations
  • Documenting and reporting test results accurately, determining severity levels, and managing issues to resolution
  • Following established defect management protocols
  • Providing accurate, professional, and timely status updates to project stakeholders
  • Escalating potential risks as they are identified and providing accurate recommendations for risk mitigation or recovery options
  • Ensuring adherence to BMO privacy and confidentiality requirements

Requirements:

  • 3 years of User Acceptance Testing experience
  • 3 years of experience in the Financial Services sector
  • 3 years of experience with Fenergo or similar client lifecycle management tools
  • Knowledge of banking, capital markets, client lifecycle management, KYC, client onboarding, and AML
  • Experience with automated test script development and execution is an asset
