Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor at Arc'teryx, you will be responsible for overseeing the production workflow and ensuring timely delivery. You will lead and maintain effective production lines, promoting a positive work environment and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead strong production lines by fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
- Ensure relevant KPIs are set, communicated, and achieved on a regular basis.
- Support frontline operators through regular coaching and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
- Monitor and assess employee performance, providing feedback and ensuring timely training and workforce planning.
- Coordinate proper training for new and existing employees to nurture new talents and strengthen skill levels.
- Efficiently plan the distribution of work to ensure a constant flow of tasks to the entire team.
- Proactively partner with other departments to ensure continuous improvements of effective and efficient production.
- Effectively communicate and coach the team to manage daily production workflow and coordinate manpower.
- Promote a clean and safe working environment by following 6S principles.
- Track attendance and approve time off based on resource planning for production lines.
- Review relevant data to understand production line performance and communicate effectively with leaders and peers.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned, including LEAN manufacturing and health and safety initiatives.
- 5+ years' experience in a fast-paced, high-volume frontline environment.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership ability and team building skills with a diverse work group.
- Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills with a high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Strong computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Teams, ERP and/or MRP systems.
- Proactive in identifying root causes of issues and developing solutions.
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
- Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.
- Passion for work and commitment to doing what is right.
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
- Experience working in an apparel industry.
- Experience in manual and automation operations.
- Knowledge and experience working with LEAN, 6S, and KPIs.

We offer a competitive salary range of $69,000 - $86,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
