We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Sudbury Retirement Manor. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our residents receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary needs of our residents.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our residents receive exceptional dining experiences, responding to their feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Language: English.
