Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Canada Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Dishroom Operations: Operate dishwashers, wash and dry dishes, and store them in a clean and organized manner.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized waste disposal system.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Perform other general kitchen duties as required, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
