About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Airdrie Truck and Auto Sales/Repairs. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to ensure our sites meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services are required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Manage Payments and Invoicing: Process payments for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Assist Cleaners and Coordinate Work Activities: Provide support to our cleaning staff and coordinate work activities with other departments.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically Demanding: Be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Manual Dexterity: Possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.

Experience and Education
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: Possess 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as facilities management or cleaning operations.
  • Permanent Employment: Be available for permanent employment with a minimum of 30-40 hours per week.
  • English Language Proficiency: Be proficient in English, the primary language of communication in our workplace.
