Production Planner / Scheduler

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner / Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating production schedules to meet customer demands, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with production teams and supply chain personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and raw materials to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with production teams, supply chain personnel, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Work closely with quality control teams to ensure that production meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for production-related inquiries and updates.
  • Communicate production schedules, changes, and priorities effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Report any defects or discrepancies to the respective management.
  • Review documents and prepare reports as required.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Operations Management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management.
  • Previous experience with engineered-to-order production highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
  • Proficiency in using MS applications and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
