About the Role

Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC is seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join our team in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of material-moving equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and loaders, to accomplish work order goals and meet production requirements.
  • Inspect equipment before use and perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including government standards and company policies.
  • Inspect and inventory rigging equipment, including slings, chokers, and chain falls.
  • Maintain a clean and organized equipment storage area.
  • Collaborate with contractor crane operators as required.

Work and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights.
  • Pass a pulmonary breathing test.
  • Ability to wear a gas mask-type respirator and personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Tolerance to fumes and airborne particles.
  • Unassisted physical mobility in and around plant and equipment.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and kneel as necessary.
  • Availability for shift work and emergency call-outs.
  • Ability to travel to and access equipment.

Requirements

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Crane Operator certification.
  • At least three years of related industrial experience.
  • Valid Class Five (5) driver's license.
