Job Title: Field Sales Representative
Company: RBC Insurance

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to contribute to our Field Sales team at RBC Insurance. As a Field Sales Representative, you will play a key role in providing integrated life insurance planning and advice to clients, helping them to achieve their long-term financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect with clients to understand their life events and offer comprehensive insurance and financial guidance.
  • Promote a client-centric approach in a digital environment by meeting clients when it is most convenient for them.
  • Develop and deepen client relationships using Salesforce and other compliant customer tools.
  • Contribute to and be accountable for team sales success through individual sales goals.
  • Increase external networks by capitalizing on market opportunities and referrals from approved centres of influence.
  • Regularly review individual business results and adjust activities as required to meet established targets.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Life License (HLLQP/LLQP) Insurance of persons certification or the willingness to complete it prior to start date.
  • Business development and prospecting skills with a goal-oriented attitude and strong ambition to succeed.
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Professional sales experience with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • An existing network of referrals within the community.
  • Digital literacy using a variety of systems and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional sales experience in the insurance domain.
  • Fluency in English to serve clients in the community with English speaking needs.
  • Industry Designations Preferred: CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), CHS (Certified Health Insurance Specialist).
