Job Summary

Chapple Fuels is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for welding and repairing metal parts and products using a variety of techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Client focus, flexibility, and team player skills.
Work Environment

Our fabrication department operates in a hot and noisy environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
