We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurants Inc. in Kamloops, BC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of customers and staff, while maintaining high standards of food quality, service times, and service experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure restaurant meets production demands and standards for food safety, food quality, service times, and service experience.
  • Open and close the restaurant, with access to the safe and/or float.
  • In absence of senior management, assign workstations and manage breaks.
  • Resolve and document any issues within their realm of authority concerning the restaurant, staff, and customers according to restaurant policies.
  • Complete daily paperwork as required.
  • Train and coach staff side-by-side as directed.
  • In absence of senior management, confront poor performance of staff and praise exceptional performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in food preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work 32-40 hours/week.
