Labatt - Industrial Plumbing Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance services as a plumbing technician on manufacturing equipment.
  • Engage in the repair of various valves and check valves within the facility.
  • Recondition and install a variety of valves.
  • Execute repair, enhancement, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the prioritization, planning, and preparation of work assignments.
  • Document daily intervention reports.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, SAP, and other organizational tools for data entry and retrieval.
  • Experience with stainless steel welding in the food sector is essential.
  • Install diverse networks including steam, CO2, and compressed air.
  • Possess sanitary welding certification as per Canadian Food Inspection Agency standards.
  • No restrictions on working at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Proficient in the use of SAP.

  • Permanent employment / 40 hours per week.
  • Hourly wage of $41.50.

Qualifications:

  • Completed DEP in plumbing.
  • Holds a Quebec plumbing qualification certificate.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Availability for all shifts (day, evening, night, weekends).
  • Journeyman plumber certification (or in progress) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing and heating systems.
  • Experience with stainless steel and high-pressure systems is advantageous.
  • Pneumatic and steam experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Self-sufficient with a proactive approach.
  • Capacity to manage stress in emergency situations.
